This funding scheme will offer applicants with a PhD and no more than eight years of postdoctoral experience a position at a non-commercial research institution in Switzerland for 12-24 months.

The Scientific Exchanges funding scheme is aimed at researchers planning to organise a scientific event in Switzerland, invite colleagues from abroad for a research visit to Switzerland, or visit their colleagues abroad.

From Canada:
NSERC Alliance International Catalyst Grants

Catalyst grants will provide funding for one year to support Canadian researchers in initiating international research collaborations in the NSE disciplines. These grants will allow Canadian researchers to identify and initiate the first stage of collaboration with the intent of supporting exploratory research activities and initiating exchanges for Canadian personnel where appropriate

FWF International – Joint Seminars

Together with selected international partner organizations, the FWF provides financial support for bilateral seminars or workshops. The program funds multiple-day workshops/seminars focusing on specific topics intended to initiate bilateral cooperation projects and prepare applications for International – Joint Projects.
